Job Description:
DXC Technology is seeking a high-potential, growth-oriented Account Executive to lead the expansion of our Consulting & Engineering Services (CES) business within a major Financial Services client.
This is a strategic growth role focused on building a significant CES footprint within an account where DXC currently has a substantial infrastructure presence but a relatively low CES install base.
The successful candidate will lead DXC’s penetration strategy across Applications, Consulting, Data, and AI services. They will establish a consulting-led bridgehead, using targeted advisory engagements and SME-led project delivery to build credibility, create momentum, and unlock large-scale transformation opportunities.
This role is ideal for an ambitious mid-career sales or consulting professional seeking to step into a broader strategic leadership role with responsibility for account growth, team formation, and long-term revenue expansion.
Establish and scale CES as a trusted transformation partner within the client by:
• Creating and executing a CES account penetration strategy
• Building consulting-led entry points into new client stakeholders and budget holders
• Converting advisory engagements into scaled Applications, Data, and AI programmes
• Leveraging DXC’s existing infrastructure presence to expand into higher-value CES services
• Developing and leading a high-performing CES account team
• Own and execute the CES growth strategy within the client account
• Identify whitespace opportunities across Applications, Consulting, Data, Engineering, and AI
• Build and maintain a multi-year account expansion plan aligned to client priorities
• Establish DXC CES as a credible transformation partner beyond infrastructure services
• Develop pipeline through proactive hunting, stakeholder engagement, and strategic positioning
• Lead consulting-led sales motions to open new buying centres and senior stakeholders
• Initiate small, high-impact consulting and SME-led engagements to establish credibility
• Use early engagements to build trust, demonstrate value, and expand scope
• Convert consulting and SME projects into larger transformation programmes
• Create repeatable patterns for expansion across business units
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including CIO, CTO, and business leaders
• Position DXC as a strategic advisor rather than a delivery supplier
• Understand client strategy, regulatory pressures, and transformation priorities
• Identify and influence client investment decisions
• Develop and maintain a strong, qualified CES pipeline
• Lead pursuit strategy for strategic CES opportunities
• Coordinate consulting, solutioning, and delivery teams to develop compelling client propositions
• Own deal progression from early engagement through closure
• Build and lead a virtual account team comprising consulting, solutioning, and delivery specialists
• Bring together the right expertise to support account growth
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and growth mindset
• Act as the focal point for CES activity within the account
• Work closely with Infrastructure account leadership to leverage DXC’s existing footprint
• Align CES growth strategy with broader DXC account strategy
• Collaborate with Consulting, Applications, Data, and AI practices
• Engage partners and alliances where appropriate
