Customer Solution Engineer (CSE)- BIM Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support provides technical, CAD & Building Information Modelling (BIM) to the KONE Australia & New Zealand CSE team, understands customer requests, and customizes layouts to combine with standard & non-standard KONE offerings.
  • Focusing on both frontline & supply line BIM cases, CSE Engineer, Support is accountable for providing layouts for tender, construction, and approval, including integrations, products, steel shafts, title-blocks, correct revisions and drafting ISO accuracy.

Job Descriptions:

Collaboration with KONE Australia & New Zealand CSE Team:

  • Responsible for updating BIM and layouts when required.
  • Ensures optimal turn around of KANZ BIM to meet customer needs and expectation.
  • Participates in KANZ CSE frontline meetings and answers layout and technical questions when needed. •
  • Works with KANZ CSE to optimise the solution when required. • Works cross-business in NBS & Modernisation

Collaboration with Supply Line Team:

  • Responsible for ensuring compatibility between Supply Line offering and Customer BIM
  • Communicates any design impacts which may affect Supply Line delivery.
  • Drives standard (A-Process) designs when possible and works with the Supply Line to keep the KONE offering as standard as possible.
  • Involves Supply Line, installation, maintenance and project management to understand both the materials.

Key Tasks in the KONE Process:

  • When required, provides BIM for tender, construction, approval and as built.
  • Provides necessary details to the KANZ CSE team for ordering materials and completing the documentation process

Requirements :

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree from any major
  • Proficiency in BIM Specialist with 5 years’ experience
  • Strong Analytical and Conceptual Thinking.
  • Able to work in a team, Good communications skills, able to work in under minimum supervisions
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and layout customization.
  • Familiarity with elevator/escalator industry layouts is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into precise technical layouts.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
