The basic function of the Administrative staff is to assist customers, sales and design staff and store management in the operations relating to the customer buying experience and the routine maintenance of the store.

La-Z-Boy is hiring one extraordinary team member to support our store as a Customer Service/ Administrator. You will work alongside the Manager, Sales Associates, and Designers as a team to provide our customers with an exceptional experience by answering calls, resolving customer concerns and keeping the showroom customer-ready. Pay: $16 per hour

Schedule Full-Time: Availability on weekdays and weekends

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Comfortable learning new technology – Willing and able to quickly adapt to new computer programs and systems.

  • Excellent customer service skills – Provides a positive experience for clients both in person and over the phone.

  • Able to multitask across systems – Navigates multiple technologies while remaining attentive and engaged with customers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Prior Administrative or Customer Service or related experience

  • Professional dress and appearance

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Retail Store environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machine, filing and faxing

  • Bending, lifting, sitting and standing for periods of time

  • Interaction with customers and co-workers, focus and concentration

SCOPE & IMPACT:
Understands and executes LZB policies and procedures and communicates this properly to customers. Utilizes computer to input comments and answer questions regarding order status, account balance, and inventory availability. Maintains professional phone etiquette, takes detailed phone messages and returns calls same day.
