How will you make an impact?

The Lead Customer Service Representative is part of a multi-cultural team and enjoys working in an international setting, whereby a wide range of administrative duties have to be fulfilled.

The team provides internal support to Thermo Fisher partners and the field engineering team and delivers professional service and excellence in a high-volume diverse back-office environment.


What will you do? 

  • Train team members in processes / systems 
  • Provide expertise, mentorship and support to colleagues
  • Coach team members to increase their level of confidence in everyday work
  • Database update and maintenance
  • Document all required information as per instructions
  • Participate in the invoicing process and spare part order handling
  • Maintain customer data
  • Actively identify process improvement areas and initiate process changes
  • Provide support and backup to line manager when needed

How will you get here?

  • 3+ years’ customer service experience is preferred.
  • Requires a high school graduate or a Government Body award. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency of English Language both written and verbal. 
  • Proficient Microsoft Office user.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skill and result oriented demeanor.
  • Display attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace. 
  • Process improvement approach.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize optimally.
  • Good understanding on financial closing dates (Quarter Ends, Year Ends) is an advantage.
  • Must demonstrate judgment, tact, and subtlety in taking care of internal and external customers.
  • Experience with SAP, C4S, ServiceNow preferred but not essential.
