The Job:

The Call Centre Service Representative will assist in selling and promoting GFL’s solid waste services to businesses and industrial establishments by placing outgoing calls and handling incoming customer calls and questions in a professional, courteous manner. Assist outside sales representative with appointment setting, customer tracking and quotations.

A day in the life* of a Call Centre Service Representative:

  • Handle inbound customer calls and emails for multiple GFL Environmental divisions
  • Respond to customer inquiries with a solutions-oriented approach while managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Conduct customer follow-ups and return calls to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Complete email follow-ups regarding service inquiries, account updates, and requests
  • Process payment requests and support billing-related inquiries
  • Run credit checks for new customer accounts in accordance with company procedures
  • Act as a positive ambassador for GFL Environmental by promoting cooperation and collaboration with internal teams and external customers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain flexibility with work schedules, as start times and daily responsibilities may vary based on operational needs
