Sales Support Administrator - Constantia Kloof
The Sales Support Administrator supports the External Sales Team in sales activities and general administrative tasks in order to create an efficient sales function.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepares quotes and pricing to customers of a less technical nature based on receipt of RFQ’s
- Collaborates with the External Sales department on more technically complex RFQ’s to ensure technical information, products and pricing are appropriate and correct for customer needs.
- Interacts directly with clients to define scope and pricing of service.
- Develops and maintains relationships with assigned customer accounts and coordinates customer support based on requests.
- Follows up on quotes and pricing supplied to customers and secures orders.
- Controls Consignment stock.
- Handles all orders received from the assigned customers and territories from Birth to Death.
Requirements
- Relevant Technical Degree
- Certificate / Diploma in Sales or Marketing will be advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Sales environment.
- Experience in a technical environment will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of the FLSmidth products and technical solutions will be advantageous.
- Experience in the mining supply/steel manufacturing industry (Advantageous).
- Experience on a MRP
- Computer Literate in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills – both external and internal.
- Pro-active, detailed focused and takes initiative.
