We are looking for an experienced CSR to join our team!
The Client Service Representative (CSR) is a vital member of our veterinary team and the first and last point of contact for our clients. This role requires prior veterinary receptionist experience and a candidate who is ready to quickly learn our workflow, software (AVImark), and protocols to support a high-performing and fast-paced team.
Due to current staffing needs, we are only considering applicants with prior experience in a veterinary front desk or client service role.

Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet clients and patients, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage a multi-line phone system: answering calls, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries appropriately
Provide accurate cost estimates and handle client check-ins/check-outs, invoices, estimates, and payments in accordance with hospital protocols
Maintain accurate and detailed client/patient records using AVImark (or other veterinary practice software)
Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, medications, and follow-up care
Coordinate prescription refill pickups and contact clients when medications are ready
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the lobby and front desk area
Support technicians and assistants with callbacks and workflow communication
Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional patient and client care
Work Schedule:
Regular workweek: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Occasional Friday availability may be requested based on clinic expansion or coverage needs
Paid rest and meal breaks provided in accordance with WA state labor laws
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a veterinary receptionist or CSR in an animal hospital
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong phone etiquette, customer service, and multitasking skills
Comfortable using phone systems, email, and computer-based scheduling software
Ability to multitask, maintain accuracy, and work both independently and as part of a team
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 35 lbs with or without accommodation
Active WA State Medical Clerk License OR ability to obtain a WA Medical Clerk License within 30 days of employment.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to AVImark software and to clinic protocols

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $20.90
Paid sick time and rest/meal breaks per Washington State requirements
