Salary is £33,216 per year based on 35 hours per week.
An exciting position has become available for a Customer Service Assistant based at Edinburgh Waverley. Joining part of the existing team at Edinburgh you will assist with both catering supply and customer service procedures, ensuring a safe and effective workplace for all our teams and customers.
You will continually provide excellent customer service no matter what the circumstances are.
You will be responsible for picking and taking catering orders from the Service Centre on the Station to the train, ensure all orders are fulfilled and delivered on time to the relevant train, ensure all temperature checks are adhered to and carry out cleaning as required.
You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks including following all safety procedures, answering customer enquiries and assisting customers to the trains as well as ensuring our trains have the correct stock on board.
It will be your responsibility to sign for deliveries of catering products, ensure stock rotation, refresh and deliver pump pot to the trains.
At all times you will keep our customers, and those of other Train Operating Companies informed of any changes to their train service especially in times of disruption.
This position covers a variety of shifts over 7 days between 04:45 and 19:30, although Sunday is outside the working week you will be rostered to work and be expected to work it if it can't be covered.

- IT Literate
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a medical examination & substance abuse screening and a DBS check.
