Customer Marketing Executive

Support advisers with customer facing Marketing materials, specifically through the ownership of Marketing in a Box, a self-generation kit of Marketing collateral to enable Advisers to promote their own business, safely. Ownership involves the creation, maintenance and personalisation of core customer facing marketing collateral across various formats, to support the delivery of the UK M&G Advice Customer Marketing plan - in line with the overall business strategy and objectives of the business.


Secondary requirement is to support, where necessary, the Marketing team across all other Marketing initiatives (Lead Generation, Advice Academy and Client Engagement).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation, maintenance and personalisation of core marketing collateral across various formats, ensuring the consistency and effectiveness of materials within the overall strategy and objectives.
  • Support other internal marketing projects as required. Support the delivery of the UK Channel Customer Marketing plan and Adviser support with customer facing materials, in line with the overall strategy and objectives of the business – giving everyone real confidence to put their money to work.
  • Support on Lead generation across a number of sources and to different audiences.
  • Deliver end to end campaign management from concept generation to creation, testing and KPI monitoring on a regular basis to monitor effectiveness.
  • Create new market communication tools with a focus on digital assets and innovation.
  • Collaborate and work together with other UK Marketing colleagues, central marketing teams and key stakeholders across the business to develop and deliver the material and campaigns.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements, business strategy and are on-brand.

Key Deliverables:

  • Dealing with general marketing enquiries from M&G Advice - first point of contact.
  • Creation of personalised Marketing materials that are direct to customer, and as part of an Adviser support kit.
  • Responsible for sending out email communications to Advisers, staff members and clients - partner events and webinars or any other general updates within the business and industry.
  • Liaising with internal Marketing Agency for marketing content.
  • Managing intranet to ensuring the content is always kept up to date.
  • Ownership of Marketing materials

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Prior Marketing experience gained in financial services marketing is preferred but not essential
  • You must demonstrate the ability to adapt, learn quickly and pick up new skills.
  • Investment and pension knowledge across funds and products would be helpful, but not essential.
  • Excellent project management skills, specifically the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Aprimo system preferred – but not essential
