About You
An exciting opportunity exists for a Customer Logistics Controller at Bryanston Office. This role is accountable for the end-to-end ownership of all customer service activities for a portfolio of external customers, including all ordering activities and prompt query resolution across the entire Order-to-Delivery process. You will build strong relationships with your customers to understand their needs and deliver value-added service, while utilizing LEAN philosophies to eliminate non-value-added activities and create efficiencies.
In one of our Supply Chain roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.
In this role you will:
Manage end-to-end order processing, ensuring accuracy, timely capture, and on-time/in-full delivery.
Oversee EDI order flow, resolve blocked/incomplete orders, and prevent delays.
Proactively communicate stock shortages and update availability dates for customers.
Build strong internal/external relationships to deliver value-added service and minimize costs.
Handle and resolve Order-to-Delivery queries promptly, driving root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Compile and publish key reports, support holiday planning, and assist during peak periods.
Champion LEAN initiatives by identifying non-value-added tasks and implementing improvements.
Maintain compliance with business procedures, monitoring systems, and personal development tools.
Required Qualifications:
Matric level education (Bachelor’s Degree advantageous).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service or logistics role, preferably in FMCG.
Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP exposure in OTC work stream.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Experience handling challenging customers and resolving complex queries.
Strong influencing skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
