Customer Lifecycle Marketing Campaign Manager (Market Insight Advisor)
Customer Lifecycle Marketing is developing relationships between Cigna Healthcare and our customers. We are an end-to-end marketing function that joins marketing lifecycle activities to our customers’ health journeys that are focused on outcomes rather than output. This role is in our campaign management team responsible for partnering on the campaign strategy and implementing campaigns using various marketing technologies.
Key Functions:
- This role is central to the success of Cigna Healthcare’s campaigns using your knowledge of marketing, customer data, and campaign management systems to strategize, create, target, and launch customer communications.
- You should be able to multi-task and work with many different types of teams– this role is not your typical “follow steps A-Z” to execute a campaign, although you do need to be able to follow established processes.
- You’ll be empowered to own more than delivery, but be involved in strategy, lifecycle marketing, and brand discussions. You must have the desire to expand your skillset and lean into different areas of interest with extra focus on topics that excite you.
- In this role, it will be important to communicate effectively and think critically about the work being done. Marketing and insight should drive all decisions and be the backbone for the campaigns and you’ll be empowered to help inform on how they should be run.
Opportunities
- The chance to be within The Cigna Group's marketing organization working in a fast paced, fun, and collaborative environment.
- Opportunities to learn various marketing technologies, data platforms, project management software, email solutions, etc.
- Be influential– you will be encouraged to get creative and understand the purpose of what the requestor is trying to achieve and help them apply best practices and learnings from other campaigns.
- 1:1 sessions with your manager and opportunities for senior skip level meetings.
- Opportunity for consideration for full time roles and positions on the extended team.
Ideal Candidates Will Offer
- Minimum 6+ years of direct marketing experience with an emphasis on campaign development and management. Healthcare experience is a plus.
- We value people with some SQL experience, familiarity with different data platforms and structures as they enable us to design and implement campaigns that meet business needs.
- A understanding of working with HTML, including working with various email send providers, best practices for optimal delivery and customer interaction, and experience with developing campaigns with dynamic content.
- You have strong attention to detail – understanding our customer’s preferences and privacy are necessary to ensure our communications reflect those needs.
- You have strong communication skills, and you understand the importance of internal customer service. These talents are vital to growing relationships with our stakeholders and working as partners to achieve a successful outcome. In addition, you can communicate requirements to our IT partners in a clear fashion while also managing expectations, and timelines.
- You should possess project management skills to guide the campaign implementation and be comfortable sharing the best practices and common procedures with fellow campaign advisors on the team.
- You should love collaborating with teammates and business partners to brainstorm creatively and come up with effective solutions.
- Utilize a Proactive approach – you will be expected to initiate tasks on your own, giving you the freedom to manage your work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities at times.
- Experience with an assortment of direct marketing platforms is a plus.
- You can recall your past marketing experience and convey ways that CLM can more effectively measure our campaigns to drive reductions in cost, increase revenue, and drive customers to take the desired actions of the communications we send.
