We are looking for a Customer Journey Expert responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our ESG platform. ING uses this platform to offer ESG-related products and services in the Netherlands and Belgium, including the ESG module in the mobile banking app, the backend, APIs, and more. This job opening is in the ESG Area of our Tribe.

The Team:

We are a product delivery area that helps the Wholesale Bank provide solutions to measure and manage our emissions, client transition plans, ESG-related data, and any business intelligence we can drive from that data to help steer our business. We use specific tools such as Gaia for emissions management.

What You Will Do:

Together with your team, product teams within our tribe, discovery teams, and others, you will work on:

• Manage the discovery, execution and delivery of a portfolio of ESG data products so that they generate significant value for ING and its customers

• Create value propositions, vision, mid/long term roadmap and product portfolio strategy
• Manage stakeholders up to very senior level 
• Coach and guide junior Product Managers 
• Lead product strategy, roadmap & discovery: find ESG (data) problems, manage QBR cycles, prioritize idea backlog and design and execute experiments to decide what problems need solving 
• Work with customer journey experts / junior PMs to discover the potential of a product idea, validate solutions & ensure timely and quality delivery; align objectives, strategy and roadmaps across a (sub)domain
• Lead multi-disciplinary squads (a portfolio) to build prototypes, MVPs and scalable solutions with complex organizational challenges 
• Demonstrate thought leadership internally and externally 
• Part of Tribe Leadership, supporting with tribe structure, rituals (discovery & delivery), metrics, processes, culture, and roles to ensure a smooth discovery and delivery

What You Bring:

• You are data-oriented and willing to dive deep into our ESG platform to improve and automate the main flows of data that fuel our services
• You are passionate and knowledgeable about ESG and have a feeling for what information and tooling clients need to make sustainable investment decisions
• You are interested in sustainability and its role in the SSG domain
• You have experience working in a multidisciplinary team with engineers and CJEs/business analysts
• You can bridge the gap between business and tech, and together with the team refine the epics, features, and stories that the engineers implement in the app
• You are organized, able to juggle multiple priorities, and combine project management skills with a focus on delivery
• You enjoy context switching from solving incidents to technical refinement, discussions with suppliers, and designing new solutions to help our clients
• You can manage internal and external stakeholders to gather the right input and manage expectations on our roadmap
