Job Summary

Act as a business lead for inbound and outbound data integration and/or enrollment systems, both for new & existing integrations of highest complexity. Manage internal and external resources to successfully conduct data re-implementation and change projects of the highest complexity. Manage & perform triage for data inquires and issues and act as subject matter expert to internal resources and customers. Provide informal leadership and support team and capability development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a business consultant to internal teams, policyholders, and brokers, educating and advocating for data integration technology capabilities, specifically around API integrations.
  • Communicate current and customer-specific integration options (APIs, SSO, EDI) and lead discussions on specifications and onboarding processes.
  • Configure and test API integrations, providing support to the customer as needed.
  • Conduct process gap analyses and collaborate with leadership to define priorities, strategic direction, and execute the data integration roadmap.
  • Act as business lead for complex data integration implementations, including configuration, testing, and coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Manage and resolve high-complexity integration issues, providing root cause analysis and acting as subject matter expert for internal and external inquiries.
  • Lead projects to expand data onboarding and enrollment system capabilities, recommending improvements aligned with industry standards.
  • Represent the organization in customer-facing presentations, finalist meetings, and vendor partnerships, serving as liaison and escalation point.
  • Provide informal leadership through mentoring, coaching, and driving best practices, while developing new processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field.

Experience: 7+ years progressively responsible experience in systems administration, group insurance benefits, and customer-facing project management within the Health Benefits Industry, supplemental products (Life, Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Absence Management, etc.) as well as API configuration utilizing Adeptia or other graphical user interface

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, database querying applications such as SQL Server and TOAD.
  • Enrollment/absence case configuration experience with Workday, Selerix, ADP, Plansource or other Enrollment Benefit Administration Systems.
  • Understanding basic database concepts and customer-facing project management, Jscript/Java script experience preferred.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

$107,250.00 - $156,750.00
