Position Overview:

The Customer Fleet Manager is accountable to improve the overall lifecycle of assigned customer’s fleet through the logistical planning of the scheduled maintenance and repairs of customer’s machinery.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, problem‑solving ability, and a solid understanding of fleet operations, logistics, and industry regulations.

This role is a Monday to Friday position located in Red Deer.

Job Description:

Coordination of Repairs & Maintenance

  • Develop strong working relationships with the Customer, the Condition Monitoring team, the Reporting Analyst, the Preventive Maintenance team, and the Sales and Operations Team
  • Liaise between local branches, the customer, and end-user customers to identify required maintenance and repairs
  • Based on customer requirements, plan and schedule maintenance and repairs to ensure proper execution and on-time completion
  • Represent the company in an ethical and professional manner
  • Create and follow work orders through execution and ensure accurate invoicing

Reporting

  • Define metrics for Analyst to prepare and maintain metrics, including utilization, preventative maintenance execution and  machinery health
  • Interpret outputs and schedule and lead all internal and customer meetings to provide current customer fleet status, identify priorities and any other specific request/needs

Forecasting

  • Provide forecast of required products, parts, and assets needed on an ongoing basis

Education & Experience:

  • HET ticket is an asset
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing customer service contracts through coordinating stakeholders. Equivalencies with commensurate experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of warranty and good will processes

Note: Travel is required in this role - 25 - 50% approximately
