Customer Experience Trainee

We are excited to invite applications for a Customer Experience Trainee to join our team in San-Pedro, Ivory Coast. This is an opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused individual to grow with us—managing a dynamic portfolio of high-volume customers while driving excellence in every interaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own the customer experience and manage volume forecasting and allocation delivery in collaboration with the Sales team.

  • Facilitate issue resolution and maintain customer satisfaction through effective handling of customer complaints.

  • Manage customer onboarding and ease of order creation, amendment, and cancellation on SPOT products.

  • Handle case management to reduce customer efforts and enhance timely issue resolution.

  • Manage cloud telephony incoming/outgoing calls to resolve customer inquiries.

  • Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle and maintain high-quality service levels.

  • Cross-sell and upsell Maersk services to customers.

  • Lead digital services adoption for Direct Transport customers.

  • Actively seek out and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Maintain a high sense of responsibility and commitment to personal growth.

We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma holder with internship experience, preferably in shipping and logistics industry.

  • Experience (Internships) in handling Customer Service transactions/processes and liaising with origin and destination offices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Good verbal and written French & English skills.

  • Good business knowledge/process understanding.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-moving environment.

  • Strong service mindset with a sense of urgency.

  • Effective multitasking skills.

  • Team player with strong communication skills.

  • Agile and adaptable to change.
