Customer Experience Associate

Now hiring! Full-time Customer Experience Associate to join the Cuyana CEx team in a hybrid capacity (work-from-home with some in-person work at our Distribution Center located in West Oakland.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quickly and thoroughly respond and solve customer inquiries via email, phone
  • Respond to and communicate with customers in a friendly, positive, professional, and efficient manner
  • Process orders, returns and exchanges - for both online and retail channels
  • Handle all customer requests and special cases at the distribution center
  • Assist with fulfillment functions - packaging, personalization, receiving, QA, transfers, and returns 
  • Assist with retail operations for all retail locations - including helping customers, completing retail transactions, receiving replenishment shipments
  • Cuyana Community - help teammates during peak season, support retail and community events

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 1-3+ years of customer service experience
  • Passionate about helping customers
  • Team player, able to collaborate & work well with others
  • Thrives in fast paced startup environment
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Positive attitude, self-starter, proactive, and resourceful
  • Ability to multi-task, very organized with attention to detail
  • ZenDesk, NetSuite, Shopify experience is a plus
  • Strong e-commerce system capabilities
  • Flexible work schedule - available early/late hours, weekdays/weekends on-site and remotely with a strong internet connection

Compensation range for this role is $20- $23/hr, commensurate with geographical location and experience.
