Job Description
The purpose of the role is as follows:
To facilitate and execute bespoke Forex and Money Market transactions for corporate and commercial clients, as well as providing market information to clients and managing client relationships.

- Ensure product knowledge and advice is technically accurate and provide customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options
- Ensure resolution of customer queries and complaints timeously and ownership of issues
- Analyse customer feedback to help improve customer service
- Propose ideas to improve customer service
- Engage with customers to understand their unique requirements, drive value optimisation and advise best options for product integration and wealth management
- Manage the growth of active customer account base
- Implement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards; policy; and compliance and governance requirements in area of accountability
- Ensure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey map
- Research, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement
- Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy
- Monitor customer feedback reports and align processes to maximise efficiencies
- Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analysing trends and data
- Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and in terms of overall customer targets
- Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities
- Provide input into the development of the business area tactical strategy in achievement of the overall business strategy
- Develop and implement an area operational plan in achievement of Business objectives Promote teamwork and inclusivity amongst team members and demonstrates behaviours that respect diversity

Furthermore, you will be required to:
Financial
- Maximise revenue from client portfolio in a sustainable manner, adhering to all regulatory and RMB pricing principles
- Know and grow RMBs market share with each client in portfolio
- Identify opportunities for up sell from vanilla to structuring as well as cross sell to commodity and interest rate hedging
- Manage costs
Proactiveness
- Ensure RMB Research and other relevant information is shared with clients appropriately and timeously
- Use all internal and external market information relevant to each client to engage in proactive communication to build your role as trusted advisor
- Make full use of internal MIS to always ensure an in-depth understanding of portfolio performance.
- Report portfolio performance to Sector owners
- Compile a monthly portfolio performance review for inclusion in exco report
Client engagement
- Ensure appropriate face-to-face client engagements, especially where opportunity or threats exist (2x week guideline)
- Continuous telephonic or Teams engagement. We aim to make more calls than we receive
- Ensure research and market information is shared electronically, with an overlay of trade ideas / personal touch
