At the core of our Moderna Enterprise Solutions Hub (MESH), this role ensures accurate, timely, and policy-compliant customer master data in support of US Commercial, Trade & Fulfillment operations.

As a dedicated Customer Data Steward, you will execute and continuously enhance end-to-end customer master data lifecycle processes, enabling operational efficiency and high-quality customer transactions across US Commercial functions.

Operating as a highly visible individual contributor, you will partner directly with cross-functional stakeholders, Digital teams, and leadership to strengthen data integrity, governance compliance, and next-generation master data capabilities.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Execute the full Customer Master Data lifecycle (creation, maintenance, inactivation) to ensure integrity, consistency, and usability across all downstream systems supporting US Commercial Operations.

  • Perform customer master data onboarding, updates, and inactivations in alignment with established policies, standards, governance practices, and applicable compliance requirements.

  • Proactively manage customer master data work queues, identify bottlenecks, and escalate process blockers to ensure operational continuity.

  • Directly interface with US Commercial functions including Trade & Fulfillment to resolve operational challenges through high-quality master data stewardship.

  • Lead incident triage and root cause analysis for customer data issues impacting business operations, implementing and communicating preventive and corrective actions.

  • Monitor and report on non-compliance issues, contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives and strengthening data governance adherence.

  • Prepare analytical reporting and performance metrics for leadership and stakeholders to drive transparency and operational insight.

  • Respond to internal stakeholder inquiries in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented manner.

  • Support continuous improvement of stewardship processes, documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

  • Contribute to operational innovations and the next generation of Customer Master Data Management, identifying enhancements to tools and workflows that elevate data quality and efficiency.

  • Partner closely with the Digital team to ensure master data tools and applications function as designed and support evolving business needs.

  • Support testing and validation of system enhancements and new functionalities within SAP, MDG, Collibra, and future technologies.

  • Provide input into master data governance frameworks and comply rigorously with master data maintenance procedures.

  • Undertake additional duties aligned with the scope of the role and your qualifications as the organization continues to scale.

In this role, you will be positioned at the intersection of data governance, digital enablement, and commercial execution — contributing to scalable, high-quality master data foundations that increasingly leverage advanced tooling and automation capabilities to drive smarter, faster decision-making across US Commercial Operations.
