Customer Care Representative (Order Management) with German

As a Customer Care Representative with German, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers across Europe, supporting the order‑to‑cash process in line with Hempel’s vision and values. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in both Germany and Poland, ensuring seamless customer experience and smooth operational flow.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end sales order in the ERP system (e.g. facilitation of on-time delivery, product substitutions and invoicing)
  • Handling return order process and drive resolution of non-technical customer complaints.
  • Supporting customer inquiries (e.g. quotations order placement, tracking, delivery status updates, product information).
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers and internal stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Technical Services).
  • Ensure data accuracy in invoicing, sales orders, and credit/debit notes processing.
  • Building strong collaboration with the commercial organization on orders.

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service, Order Management or similar role.
  • Very good English and German language proficiency (B2 level or higher).
  • Working experience with ERP systems would be an advantage (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) .
  • Highly motivated and proactive approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work under time pressure.
  • Open-minded team player, able to work independently when needed.
