Job Description

So, what will your new role look like?

As a Customer Advocacy Marketer for ShareGate, you’ll be at the forefront of amplifying customer success and transforming it into powerful storytelling and strategic marketing initiatives. You’ll partner directly with our users to uncover their wins, craft compelling narratives, and build impactful advocacy programs that support awareness, pipeline growth, and customer loyalty. If you love connecting with customers, are energized by storytelling, and thrive in cross-functional teams, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and nurture strong customer advocates across segments, industries, and use cases;
  • Lead customer interviews and transform insights into compelling stories, case studies, testimonials, and spotlight features;
  • Manage and grow customer review programs (e.g., G2, Gartner Peer Insights) to support category leadership;
  • Maintain a pipeline of customers for stories, references, and campaigns in partnership with customer-facing teams;
  • Collaborate with Content, Brand, and Product Marketing to bring customer stories to life across multiple formats (written, video, social, email);
  • Support customer showcases, speaking opportunities, and visibility programs (webinars, panels, quotes, etc.);
  • Provide advocacy assets to Sales and Demand Gen for use in campaigns, ABM, and enablement;
  • Track and report on advocacy impact, asset production, and customer insights to inform strategy;
  • Experiment with AI tools to streamline content creation, campaign execution, and workflow automation.

A typical week?

You’ll spend time identifying and nurturing customer advocates, interviewing users for case studies and testimonials, and managing review programs like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams to align customer stories with go-to-market efforts and measure the impact of advocacy campaigns. From brainstorming creative formats to managing content production, every week will bring a mix of strategy, storytelling, and execution.

What does your future team look like?

You’ll report to the Manager, Customer Marketing – ShareGate and work alongside a Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager. Together, you’ll be part of a small but mighty team focused on ShareGate’s customer lifecycle and advocacy. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Management, Sales, Product Marketing, and Design to help fuel customer success and long-term growth.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?

We’re building out repeatable customer advocacy motions and scaling programs to spotlight customer success at every stage of the journey. From case studies and community initiatives to peer reviews and customer showcases, your work will play a critical role in strengthening ShareGate’s brand, credibility, and category leadership.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or customer-facing roles;
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for amplifying user success;
  • Strong interviewing and storytelling skills, with excellent relationship-building instincts;
  • Analytical and revenue-focused approach to advocacy, understands how customer stories drive business outcomes;
  • Background in customer advocacy or community building, with experience running peer review programs (G2; Gartner Peer Insights);
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Account Management, Sales, Product Marketing, and Creative teams;
  • Curious and experimental with new tools, excited to explore how AI can support content creation, workflows, and advocacy at scale;
  • Bonus: experience with HubSpot and other customer marketing tools is a strong asset.
