Job Title: Housekeeper
FLSA Status:Part time $16 per hour
Department: Operations
Reports to: Operation Manager
Position Summary:
This position provides high quality cleaning services for all areas of the facility as well as set-up of rooms for events.
Evenings and weekends hours only
Ability to listen and follow instructions
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work and get along with fellow employees
Sufficient training, experience, and competence in the janitorial field
Responsibilities:
Sweep, Scrub, mop and wax floors
Vacuum and clean rugs and carpets
Clean, dust and polish furniture and woodwork
Empty and clean waste receptacles and ashtrays
Clean walls, ceilings, restrooms, window shades and light fixtures
Operate machinery such as buffers, vacuums and shampoo machines
Set-up event rooms according to Banquet Event Order diagrams.
Assist in moving furniture
Maintain good attendance and promptness
Follow safety procedures
Report evidence of vandalism or damage
Be always personable and courteous to the public
Preform any other duties assigned by supervisors
