The Opportunity:
Are you ready to take charge and make a difference? In this position, you will lead assigned personnel and perform essential custodial duties. You will regularly assign tasks, provide instructions, and check the work of others to ensure high standards. You will also maintain custodial inventory and conduct training sessions. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, performing snow removal, and other custodial tasks such as emptying waste baskets, cleaning floors, dusting, and cleaning furniture. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy leading a team, this role is perfect for you!
Available shifts:
Monday-Friday: 5:00am - 1:30pm
Monday-Saturday: 7:00pm - 3:30am

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary:
$3,417 to $4,542 | Range 38 (Steps A - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

Required Qualifications:
Physical ability to do required work and one (1) year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work OR one (1) year experience as a Lead; OR equivalent education/experience.
Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Six (6) months or more in depth knowledge of custodial procedures as performed in Facilities Operations.
