We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cúram QA Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of Cúram-based implementations that support critical social services, healthcare, and government programs. This position is ideal for candidates with a passion for quality assurance and a strong interest in social care and technology.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyse Curam Solution Requirements and Functional Design Documents (FDDs) to create comprehensive Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
- Perform Functional, System Integration, and Regression Testing for Cúram solutions.
- Conduct manual and/or automated testing of web-based applications built on the Curam platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough Test Coverage and proactively identify potential design gaps or inconsistencies.
- Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Data aligned with the Testing Strategy.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA, RTC, or similar.
- Generate and deliver Test Execution reports, participate in Defect Triage meetings, and drive Defect Resolution.
- Support development of Automated Regression Test Suites for ongoing QA efficiency and effectiveness.
- Validate data integrity and logic by writing and executing SQL queries against relational databases.
- Participate in Agile practices including Sprint Planning, backlog grooming, and Daily Stand-ups.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned QA deliverables and timelines.
- Stay up to date with new tools, testing practices, and technologies to adapt based on project needs.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- 2 - 8 years of experience in manual and/or automated QA testing in enterprise software environments.
- Strong understanding of Curam Social Program Management (SPM), with prior experience in projects related to HCR or Social Program domains preferred.
- Solid experience in Functional Testing, Defect Lifecycle, and Test Case management.
- Strong command of SQL and experience querying relational databases like DB2, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Understanding XML syntax, structure, and validation to support API testing.
- Expertise in testing using SoapUI.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with web-based application testing, including UI and backend validations.
- Proficiency using web-based test management tools, especially Rational Quality Manager (RQM).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Experience working on large-scale and complex Curam implementation projects.
- Working knowledge of Test Automation frameworks using Selenium/Java.
- Working knowledge on JavaScript.
- Working knowledge on TestCafe or similar JavaScript-based testing tools.
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building and integrating Automated Test Scripts into deployment workflows.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills; ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines.
Required Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
