Currently we are hiring for a:
Cube Van Driver – Seasonal
Key Job Responsibilities:
Driving a cube van to deliver packaged goods cases, bags, etc. in pallets with a pallet jack to farm customers and between warehouses
Working in a warehouse to receive ship and store packaged goods
Maintaining a safe work environment and surroundings
Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere with a high regard for environmental impact of the operation and attend various mandatory safety and department meetings
Basic Qualifications:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and be 18 years or older
Possess a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s license in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow up
Able to interpret directions, read maps and communicate via cellphone
Able to work independently at times
Ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc. to work in Cube Van
Able to work extended hours including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Demonstrated ability working in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent degree or certification
