Position Overview:

At West Cancer Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients, employing cutting-edge technology and a compassionate approach. As a CT Technologist I, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to excellence. Your primary responsibility will be operating imaging equipment to conduct procedures tailored to our specified patient population. It is imperative that you exemplify appropriate behavior as outlined in our Mission, Vision, and Values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
• Effectively manages resources such as supplies and equipment. Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
• Certification and registration as R.T.(R) ARRT.
• Must have CT certification within 18 months of date of hire.
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
• New graduates of an accredited program without ARRT will be accepted and must obtain certification and registry within one year of graduation date.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
