The Cyber Security Operations (CSO) Project Manager will play a pivotal role in orchestrating, governing and aligning the CSO BOW to strategic goals for successful delivery of strategic projects across various functions within Cyber Security Operations. This position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Definition: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource allocation and budget estimations where required, and realistic timelines. Ensure project alignment with organizational strategy and business objectives.
- Project Execution & Management: Lead and guide project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Partner with teams on operational aspects of projects, managing interdependencies and critical paths. Implement best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) appropriate for each project.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Maintain a comprehensive risk register, escalating critical risks and issues to relevant stakeholders and steering committees as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders, including sponsors, team members, vendors, and end-users. Provide regular, transparent updates on project status, progress, risks, and issues through formal reports, presentations, and dashboards. Facilitate project meetings and reviews.
- Quality Assurance & Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet specified quality standards and requirements. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews to verify adherence to established protocols and standards within the banking environment.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Additional technical certifications are preferred
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills
- Proven analytical skills
- Experience in PTS, JIRA
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
