About the role:
Agilent Technologies is hiring a CrossLab Connect (CLC) Implementation Project Manager to lead the successful deployment of our CrossLab Connect solution. You will be the primary contact during installation, coordinating project teams and communications while ensuring accurate project documentation. This role reports to the EMEA Lab Informatics Service Delivery Manager within the Enterprise Services Customer Success Team. This position can operate remotely from Spain, Italy or Ireland
We seek a candidate with strong project management skills and hands-on experience in the laboratory industry, specifically with lab instrument installations.
Technical expertise in instrument connectivity, IT network implementation, data management, reporting, and automation is essential.
This is a home-based position, primarily managing customer activities remotely. Collaboration across teams is key to delivering top project outcomes and ensuring customers receive trusted support throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with sales teams to review customer needs and assess CrossLab Connect compatibility with their lab instruments and IT infrastructure.
- Assist in technical discussions and prepare Implementation Statements of Work (ISOW) during pre-sales.
Manage Implementation Projects:
- Lead project kick-off meetings with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Serve as the primary contact throughout the project, managing communications and expectations from start to installation.
- Prepare and maintain all project documentation, including plans, tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet), and customer-facing materials.
- Identify and engage relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts; assess risks and define mitigation plans.
- Schedule and lead regular project meetings, manage logistics, and coordinate internal and external teams.
- Participate in internal data validation and manage smooth handoff to downstream teams upon project completion.
- Continuously seek process improvements, provide product feedback, and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure successful outcomes and uphold Agilent’s service standards.
Internal Cross-Functional Engagement
- Coordinate across multiple teams, in multiple departments internally within Agilent. Work with those teams to schedule customer-facing tasks, internal tasks and communicate project progress.
- Sales : Collaborate with the Digital Services Specialist (DSS) and Account Managers to align project goals and timelines.
- Program Manager (CLC): Work closely with the Program Manager for CrossLab Connect.
- Enterprise Program Teams: Engage with Enterprise Program teams to align project goals and timelines.
- Customer Service Organisation (CSO) – Product Champions FSE: Coordinate with Product Champions and Field Service Engineers (FSE) for delivery tasks and technical support.
- Product Support: Liaise with product support teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Technical Marketing: Collaborate with technical marketing teams to ensure alignment with marketing strategies and customer communication.
- CuS: Engage with Customer Success teams through the implementation until the end of the project and handover to them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration), or comparable experience.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a technical or software implementation role.
- Strong understanding of laboratory instrumentation and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Familiarity with Agilent products and the CrossLab Connect Suite is a plus

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
