Job Description:
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer serves as the Senior Technical Authority within the Cross Plant ME Department. While performing essential daily operational duties, this role is primarily focused on delivering advanced, optimized solutions for the most stubborn and complex manufacturing quality issues originating from the MCA Plant and its suppliers. Your core value is to enhance the team's technical capabilities and knowledge transfer, leveraging your senior experience to ensure on-time and high-quality aircraft delivery.

This role requires a normal day & late shift work, in case of industrial crisis, it may require work in the night shifts when necessary.
Education: Aeronautics education or equivalent bachelor degree. Master's degree or advanced certification (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is a strong advantage.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Aviation Manufacturing Engineering including at least 5 years experience in cross plant technical activities, with proven success in leading complex problem-solving initiatives and managing multi-functional/international project teams.
Technical Skills:
Required skill 1: Aircraft specifications & 2D drawing, Mastery in complex drawing interpretation and expertise in defining technical standards for ME disposition. Required skill 2: tools such as SAP, ACPnG, @AirNav, CIRCE, IBM... Required skill 3: Advanced Problem-Solving skills, Proven application of advanced quality tools (FMEA, SPC, PPS, Six Sigma methodology). LANGUAGE: fluent English both in written and oral speaking. Required for leading technical negotiations and exchanges with EU team. French and/or German is a significant plus.

Strategic Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate future issues and develop proactive, systemic strategies rather than reactive solutions.
