ABOUT THE ROLE

Wunderflats is looking for a Senior CRM Lead to take full ownership of lifecycle marketing across both sides of our marketplace — landlords and tenants.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, shaping, and running CRM end-to-end. You’ll define how lifecycle marketing works at Wunderflats: from strategy and journey design to automation, optimisation, and commercial impact. You’ll report directly to the CMO and work closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data.

This role is ideal for an experienced CRM professional who wants real ownership, not a narrow execution slice and who’s motivated by turning lifecycle thinking into measurable growth.

We’re investing in a modern, flexible CRM and lifecycle setup and want to unlock its full potential, creating smarter journeys, stronger relationships, and more meaningful engagement across the entire user lifecycle.

This role exists to turn that opportunity into impact: designing how lifecycle marketing works at scale, connecting user intent with the right message at the right time, and establishing CRM as a powerful, measurable growth channel.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will own CRM and lifecycle marketing end-to-end, across strategy, execution, and performance.

Your work will include:

  • Designing and owning lifecycle strategy across supply (landlords) and demand (tenants)
  • Building automated journeys that drive activation, conversion, and retention
  • Defining segmentation and lifecycle logic across complex, multi-step user journeys
  • Owning CRM KPIs, reporting, and performance optimisation
  • Continuously testing and improving messaging, timing, frequency, and content

Supply (Landlords)
• Activate and nurture new leads through to first listing
• Reactivate inactive or churned landlords
• Align CRM flows closely with Sales and activation pipelines

Demand (Tenants)
• Segment users based on intent and behaviour
• Improve visit-to-booking-request conversion
• Re-engage inactive users and encourage repeat usage

Collaboration & Ways of Working
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, Paid Media, Content, and Data teams
• Lead through expertise, structure, and influence — not hierarchy
• Use freelancers or external partners where it adds value

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

After 6–12 months, you will have:

  • Built a clear lifecycle and journey framework across both sides of the marketplace
  • Launched a scalable, automated CRM setup that runs end-to-end
  • Delivered measurable improvements in activation and conversion
  • Improved efficiency by making better use of existing leads and users
  • Established CRM as a trusted, data-driven growth lever across the business

WHO YOU ARE

You are a senior CRM or lifecycle marketer who enjoys ownership, complexity, impact and brings:

  • Strong hands-on experience in CRM / lifecycle marketing
  • Proven ability to own strategy and execution end-to-end
  • Experience working with complex or two-sided user journeys (marketplaces, SaaS, platforms)
  • A commercial mindset and comfort being accountable for results
  • High autonomy and confidence operating in evolving, fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in English (C2), German is a plus
