The Role
Join a collaborative and high-performing team where you’ll play a key role in managing credit risk processes, ensuring compliance with trade credit insurance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. It will involve reviewing customer accounts, handling insurance claims, preparing exposure reports, and supporting system improvements. The position requires strong communication skills - partnering with customers and the insurer. The role will also collaborate with Sales and Finance teams, providing weekly reports and managing credit limits. Act as a backup for accounts receivable duties (i.e. collections, invoicing, posting customers credit/debits, balance sheet reconciliations and banking).
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain customer credit limits across ERP systems, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and compliance requirements.
Review new account applications and set up customer risk codes in SAP/M3.
Prepare and deliver accurate credit exposure reports and provide insights to Sales and Finance stakeholders.
Handle trade credit insurance processes, including claims submission and annual reporting.
Contribute to system enhancements and automation projects to improve efficiency.
About You
Experienced in B2B credit risk management, ideally within FMCG or retail environments.
Proficient in SAP and skilled in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, PowerBI).
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work in a team.
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on process improvement.
Knowledge of trade credit insurance principles and financial/insurance systems.
