CREDIT RATINGS, CMBS – SENIOR ANALYST
About the Role
DBRS Morningstar CMBS Ratings team is seeking a junior analyst to support the analytical team in the credit risk assessment of commercial real estate loans and securitized products. In this position, the successful applicant will assist with various aspects of the ratings process, including reviewing third party data, conducting property and loan analysis, writing Asset Summary Reports, and supporting research and database projects.
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare underwriting templates for credit analysis of commercial real estate assets.
• Review third-party reports including appraisals, property condition reports, environmental reports, seismic surveys, and other industry specialized reports.
• Provide support for mid- and senior-level analysts.
• Maintain various transaction and loan tracking systems.
• Perform property site visits in support of loan analysis.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree is required, a major in finance or related field is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to travel 10-20%.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with strong organization and time management skills.
• Genuine interest in commercial real estate and structured finance.
• Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibilities.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

$92,000.00 - 127,725.00 USD AnnualInclusive of annual base salary and target incentive
