Credit Portfolio Associate

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Portfolio Associate. We are looking for a Credit Portfolio Associate to support the Securities‑Based Lending (SBL) business by managing portfolio risk, monitoring collateral performance, and executing key credit controls.

In this role, you will:

Provide support as an advisor regarding credit performance, potential or emerging risks, and business conformity with risk appetite, credit culture, and policies

Review basic or tactical issues, credit policies or procedures, complex credit reports, and findings and insights to recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies to management

Receive direction from supervisors, and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of credit function, analytical tools, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers

Required Qualifications:

4+ months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

The role involves reviewing margin equity, concentration, and exception reports, supporting credit approvals, and partnering with onshore stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong securities market knowledge and experience with portfolio analytics and controls, and the ability to drive process efficiency in a fast‑paced lending environment
