About the role
Proactively manage end-to-end debtor accounts by following up outstanding payments via phone, email, and correspondence with patients, customers, insurers, and health funds to ensure timely recovery of revenue.
Issue system-generated reminder notices and statements, while accurately monitoring account activity and identifying balances for review, escalation, or potential write-off in consultation with the Revenue Manager.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Private Patient Services, Accounts Receivable, Billing teams, and wider business units to investigate discrepancies, resolve outstanding accounts, and support Sundry Billing collections.
Reconcile and investigate unmatched payments from bank statements, ensuring accurate allocation through liaison with receipting teams, and maintaining high standards of financial integrity and reporting accuracy.
Manage all incoming communications (mail, phone, and email) in a professional and timely manner, including liaison with external debt collection agencies, while providing broader administrative and operational support to the Manager and team as required.
About you

Experience in a high-volume transactional environment, confidently managing large volumes of emails and phone enquiries with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and produce clear, concise business correspondence.
Highly organised with strong time management skills, able to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
Proven problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously to achieve positive outcomes.
