FLSmidth, a leader in sustainable solutions for the Mining industry, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Credit Director. This position will be responsible to look after the customer AR portfolio in the assigned territory.

The Credit Manager will lead the credit and collections strategy across the assigned territory, ensuring strong cash flow performance, risk mitigation, and alignment with overall business goals. This high-impact role is responsible for overseeing credit assessment, establishing credit limits, managing collections performance, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in credit risk management, collections processes, customer relationship management, and team leadership — with a strong focus on driving results, process improvement, and collaboration across departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage directly with strategic/key global accounts to structure risk-appropriate credit terms and resolve escalated issues.
  • Review new customers to establish credit limits and terms.
  • Provides mentoring and coaching to GBC and local teams.
  • Lead high-level reviews of portfolio performance, aging, concentration risks, and provisioning adequacy.
  • Serve as a key strategic partner to senior stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Legal and Operations
  • Determine when proper escalation and 3rd party collections are required.
  • Act as the final escalation point for complex disputes, insolvency scenarios, or sensitive accounts.

What you bring:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field
  • Good at building strong relationships with business stakeholders.
