Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence is looking for a talented and experienced Credit Coordinator who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate experience. 

 

About the role:

What You Will Do  

  • Maintain a harmonious and professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and all departments.

  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in Empact.

  • Assist in cashier training and be available as needed to support cashiers in solving problems in cash handling procedures.

  • Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed.

  • Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures, and safeguards are in place, as they relate to House Banks.

  • Retrieve deposit envelopes from the drop safe for processing, accompanied by a Security Officer or the Director of Finance's designate.

  • Audit cashiers’ daily deposits and prepare the daily hotel deposit.

  • Count, balance, organize, and monitor own Bank and safe.

  • Process foreign currencies in accordance with local policy.

  • Prepare and distribute Cashiers’ due backs.

  • Prepare the Daily Cash Report.

  • Issue Cashier's Banks and assign safety deposit boxes for safekeeping of the Banks.

  • Prepare and maintain a log of all issued House Banks.

  • Make petty cash disbursements according to established guidelines.

  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.

  • Maintain an accurate, orderly and up-to-date file for all outstanding Bank contracts.

  • File documents and reports.

  • Conduct House Bank audits on a regular basis, according to established guidelines.

  • Report all cash discrepancies to the Assistant Director of Finance immediately.

  • Solve any deposit discrepancies directly with the bank, while keeping the Assistant Director of Finance aware of the status of said discrepancies.

 

What You Bring 

  • Requires a working knowledge of division operations. 

  • Working knowledge is generally learned on the job. 

  • Requires the ability to operate computer equipment and other Finance systems. 

  • Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. 

  • More than 1 year of experience.
