JOB MISSION:
The purpose of this role is to maintain healthy cash flow by managing cash collection and aged debt for wholesale customers in France and the DOM‑TOMs. The role works closely with internal teams to ensure credit limits, payment terms, and account statuses are properly maintained. Through strong organisation and communication, it supports both customer relationships and financial stability.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITES:
Cash Collection and aged debt / House Keeping
Manage a ledger of wholesale customers/buying groups based in France/Dom Toms.
Reducing payment delay in issuing regular chase letter and chasing for payment both by phone and email.
Update diary system within ERP system with actions taken.
Agree and negotiate payment plans in accordance with NB credit policy.
Monitor aged debt, keeping debt > 60 days under 2%
Request and share payment details with SSC for any unallocated cash to be allocated and reconciled correctly.
Queries/Claims Management
Ensure any customer queries/claims are shared with relevant internal departments Customer Service / Sales and resolved in a timely fashion so as not to impact on cash collection.
Update actions in the ERP system.
Update claims register with any manual credit notes/invoice required because of query resolution.
Credit Limits Monitoring
Carry out reviews of credit limits set against Orderbooks closely with Sales and UK.
Make sure CL and payment terms are up to date.
Orders on Credit
Share regular updates about accounts status with internal team.
Reporting
Regular updates with CC Team Leader

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Relevant number of years of experience with B2B Credit Control with a substantial volume.
Excellent communication skills both verbally & written.
Ability to work autonomously.
Strong prioritisation.
Great team player.
Customer service mindset and approach.
Language skills (English).
Microsoft 365 experience is desirable.
