Main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Credit & Collections professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the end-to-end credit management process for the EMA region, including credit assessment, limit setting, order release, and collections activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and minimize bad debt provisions, proactively identifying and mitigating credit risks.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve complex customer issues, reconcile accounts, and facilitate timely payments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal controls, legal requirements, and industry regulations related to credit management and data protection.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes with key customers, escalating complex issues to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
  • Stay informed of economic trends and market conditions impacting credit risk in the EMA region.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall financial performance and customer satisfaction.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Progressive experience in credit management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Proven experience working with the EMA region, demonstrating an understanding of diverse legal and cultural business practices.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies, collection techniques, and relevant financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop direct reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, collections tools and strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other European languages is a significant advantage.
  • * Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Our target salary range for this position is 55,000–65,000 EUR per annum, which aligns with and more accurately reflects the broader salary range advertised below.
