To perform comprehensive analysis of credit data and financial statements to evaluate risk associated with credit extensions and lending decisions. This role partners with management to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and support corporate financial planning.

Are you someone who can:  

  • Optimize asset growth while minimizing financial risk and bad debts.
  • Identify, control and escalate potential risks which may lead to non-performing loans.
  • Prioritise resource allocation to minimise and reduce wastage.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant business units and business product houses as per strategy to identify training and mentor opportunities for salespersons.
  • Resolve customer dissatisfaction/complaints by taking ownership of the problem.
  • Analyse customer feedback to help improve customer service.
  • Ensure that service delivery is accurate, timeous and of an acceptable standard.
  • Ensure that product or service knowledge and advice is technically accurate.
  • Ensure a turnaround time that reflects efficiency, responsiveness and service quality.
  • Monitor your portfolio and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Have strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial analysis, and lending practices.
  • Have excellent analytical, loan decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Are proficiency in Microsoft Office, credit systems and risk modelling.
  • Responsible for maximizing cross-sell opportunities through credit assessment and client 
  • Manage personal development to increase own skills and competencies. 
  • Have banking or financial Industry experience is an added advantage.
  • Have strong interpersonal, communication and customer service abilities.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:  

  • Have a relevant Advance Credit / Finance Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any related field.   
  • Have 4 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar environment.
