Our Credit team has an opening position of Credit Analyst. As a Credit Analyst you will administer, and coordinate assigned activities related to all aspects of credit analysis between the company and our customers who are located in Latin America.


Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

  • New customer analysis and set up based on Credit Bureau scores.

  • Complete a thorough, in-depth analysis of new credit requests, credit change requests, renewals and annual relationship reviews. Recommend risk rating changes when analysis merits.

  • Preparing reports about the degree of risk in extending credit limits to clients.

  • Analyzing client records and using the data to assign credit limits.

  • Testing the financial status of clients by producing financial ratios through credit decision sheets.

  • Responsible for reviewing orders placed on credit hold and advise the decision (whether to release or leave on hold the shipments) to our colleagues at customer service/sales representative

  • Apply fundamental credit analysis and various analytical tools to develop recommendations to the continuous orders on hold (such as payment plans, credit limit guarantees, update payment method, etc.)  

  • Attend the functional mailbox (order control) for all the requests for NA region

  • Review the daily order on hold report through SharePoint

  • Preparing monthly reports of the accounts with the highest number of manual releases and advise if there is a follow-up plan

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Experience managing a customer portfolio with a high-risk tolerance.

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience

  • Fluency in English

  • Experience in structured trade finance and risk mitigation solutions

  • Experience with credit risk and scoring models
