The CREDI-ENTERPRISE RELATIONSHIP OFFICER reporting to the Partnership and Project Senior Officer the holder of this position will be responsible for client recruitment, loan appraisal, disbursement and portfolio management to ensure growth and quality in line with VisionFund’s requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Product Rollout & Implementation
• Drive adoption of the newly developed agricultural loan products for groups and individuals.
• Ensure alignment with VisionFund Kenya’s climate strategy and sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with credit and business development teams to optimize processes for product delivery.
2. Loan Disbursement
• Achieve monthly disbursement targets
• Maintain portfolio quality with PAR 1 and PAR 30 at zero.
3. Client Training & Engagement
• Conduct monthly training sessions on agri-finance, climate-smart agriculture, and loan management.
• Facilitate mandatory monthly group meetings.
• Ensure client attendance in all trainings.
4. Monitoring & Reporting
• Prepare and Submit monthly reports
• Track loan utilization for clients.
• Develop client success stories annually.
• Attend all required VFI meetings.
5. Climate-Smart Agriculture Integration
• Promote practices that mitigate climate risks and enhance resilience.
• Provide technical guidance to clients on sustainable farming techniques.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• The ideal Candidate should possess Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any related field.
• Minimum 1-2years of experience in credit/lending, loan appraisal, client assessment and recruitment, portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge on sales and marketing skills with ability to meet targets.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, word and power point.
• Demonstrates strong negotiation skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Possess high level of integrity and professionalism.
