Position Overview
Are you chronically online? Do you find yourself spotting the next big TikTok sound or LinkedIn discourse before it hits the mainstream? We’re looking for a digital native who is equal parts strategic and creative. Someone who can spot what’s culturally relevant and knows how to position a brand to participate in it.
Join the dynamic marketing team at VaynerX, working directly with Vayner's Marketing Team led by our Chief Marketing Officer to fuel our brand’s online presence. We need someone who can film on the fly, ideate the "hook," and pivot from a polished YouTube long-form edit to a high-energy TikTok micro clip. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to be at the heart of the industry’s most innovative company, we’d love to chat with you.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Content Creation: Edit high-quality long-form content for YouTube and slice micro-clips for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
- High-Volume Production: Produce a high volume of assets at scale, helping to produce content pipelines for multiple social media handles across the VaynerX ecosystem.
- Trend Ideation: Actively ideate and pitch creative concepts based on emerging trends, cultural moments, and platform-specific shifts alongside our fab five VaynerX social team
- Event production: Editing raw footage from live events and activations. You’ll be responsible for local in-person event filming, identifying real-time trends, and producing "speed of culture" content that brings the event experience to our digital audience.
- Platform Mastery: Tailor edits specifically for the nuances of each platform. Understanding that what works on LinkedIn is vastly different from what wins on TikTok.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the social team to align content with broader VaynerX marketing goals and brand voice.
- Multimedia Support: Photography and podcast editing a plus!
Requirements
- Full-Stack Creator Skills: Proven experience in both filming, and post-production.
- Marketing Passion + Platform Expertise: Deep interest in marketing with strong knowledge of social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You have an understanding of "the hook," the algorithm, and the audience of each.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro) or CapCut. You are comfortable moving between professional desktop software and mobile-first editing tools.
- Cultural Pulse: You have a sixth sense for what is culturally relevant. You spend time on the platforms and know how to translate a trending sound or format into a brand-aligned asset.
- Creative Problem Solver: A self-starter who doesn't just wait for a brief but proactively identifies opportunities to create content that drives engagement.
- Creative Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas, support teammates, and work effectively across departments
- Dependable & Accountable: Known for reliability and follow-through; consistently delivers quality work and supports team goals with integrity
- Adaptable & Flexible: Thrives in changing environments and is comfortable pivoting between multiple work streams, adjusting to shifting priorities and updates
- Bonus Points: Experience in professional photography, color grading, or specialized podcast editing/audio engineering.
Work Schedule
- Hybrid Environment: We are a people-first company! This is a hybrid role with a required 2-3 days on-site from our NYC office to facilitate live collaboration with your team.
- Full-Time Commitment: You must be able to commit to a full-time work schedule (40 hours per week) during 9am–6pm ET business hours, Monday–Friday.
