The Creator Engagement Manager (L3) for Vietnam sits at the heart of this transformation. You will own the creator engagement function for Vietnam’s YouTube MCN, building a high-quality creator network that does not just grow audiences — it drives commerce. Working from strategy set by country and regional leadership, you will translate direction into a structured, data-driven execution plan that delivers on our creator acquisition, GMV, and GP targets.
You are a developing people manager who leads by example: analytical, AI-curious, and deeply passionate about helping creators succeed commercially. You will manage a team of Creator Executives and coach them to operate as business partners — relationship-builders who are powered by intelligent technology.
What You Will Do
Drive Commerce-First Creator Growth
- Drive the Views-to-GMV Shift: Lead the acquisition and development of “commercial creators” with strong potential on YouTube Shopping Affiliate, Shorts, and branded content, building growth playbooks that maximise each creator’s GMV contribution — not just their subscriber count.
- Build and Scale the Creator Ecosystem: Design and implement creator segmentation frameworks, growth playbooks, and monetization cycles to maintain a healthy creator pool consistently contributing to our GMV and GP targets. You will own KPIs across the full creator lifecycle.
- Develop Creators as Business Partners: Identify priority creators for 1-1 engagement and unlock their full commercial potential through YouTube Shopping Affiliate, cross-platform amplification on TikTok and Meta, and new AnyMind creator services as they launch.
Partnership, Cross-Functional Collaboration & Commercial Impact
- Liaise Platform Relationships: Build active working relationships with the YouTube team to stay ahead of new programs, policy changes, and commercial opportunities for your creator network before competitors do.
- Manage Concurrent Projects with Excellence: Oversee multiple active deliverables simultaneously, maintaining high client satisfaction and coaching team members on project management disciplines.
- Coordinate with D2C and Marketing Teams: Actively collaborate with AnyMind’s D2C and Marketing Solutions teams to identify and convert cross-sell opportunities. You will contribute directly to our target of generating GP through creator-led referrals into the broader AnyMind commercial ecosystem.
- Manage Brand Collaborations & Sponsored Campaigns: Manage creator initiative projects — including brand collaborations, sponsored campaigns, and affiliate programs — in close coordination with Sales, Account Management, Creative, and Production teams. Deliver on time, in full, to a standard that builds case studies and earns recognition.
Team Leadership & AI-Powered Operations
- Build a Team of Creator Business Partners: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Creator Executives, helping each member evolve from relationship-based account management to a tech-powered, commercially-minded approach that treats every creator as a business partner.
Who You Are
- Experience: 6-8 years with YouTube and MCN, or a closely related digital media or social commerce environment. You will have a track record of managing creator relationships and driving growth and monetisation outcomes.
- YouTube Ecosystem: Strong, hands-on knowledge of AdSense, Content ID, YouTube Shopping Affiliate, Shorts, and channel optimisation. You understand how GMV is generated, how brands evaluate creator partnerships, and how to build a business case for a creator.
- Campaign Execution: Proven ability to manage creator campaigns and brand collaborations from brief through to delivery, with a clear understanding of how creator content translates into commercial outcomes for both creators and advertisers.
- People Management: Demonstrated experience leading a small team (1–3 direct reports) or project team. You are comfortable setting expectations, having performance conversations, and developing others toward both commercial and professional goals.
- Education: A recognised university degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Language: Native proficiency in Vietnamese and professional proficiency in English.
