The Opportunity

Cochlear is seeking a Creative Production Designer to support the EMEA Marketing Organisation by producing and maintaining high-quality, on-brand marketing collateral. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent brand representation across print and digital assets, supporting product launches, corporate initiatives, and broader awareness and advocacy campaigns.

Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, the Creative Production Designer will contribute to efficient creative workflows while delivering accurate, compliant, and engaging marketing materials within a highly regulated medical device environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and deliver on-brand marketing materials to support Cochlear’s products, services, and campaigns across EMEA.
  • Create and implement design layouts from initial brief through to final execution and delivery.
  • Support product launches, corporate initiatives, and regional marketing activities.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with Cochlear’s global brand strategy and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across EMEA, managing briefs, feedback, and approvals.
  • Prepare, manage, and distribute final artwork through relevant content management systems.
  • Work confidently across Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to assemble text, graphics, and visual assets.
  • Meet deadlines by following defined processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to improving creative efficiencies, workflows, and production processes.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of marketing assets in a controlled, compliant environment.

Position-Specific Skills and Challenges

  • Working within a highly regulated medical device environment with strict brand and compliance requirements.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Supporting localization of marketing materials for regional and local markets.
  • Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output across print and digital formats.
  • Incorporating stakeholder feedback effectively while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of creative workflows and production efficiencies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication, or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in a highly regulated environment with strict brand guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and ability to apply brand guidelines consistently.
  • Proven experience producing and maintaining print and digital marketing publications.
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with translated and localized materials, including RTL.
  • Knowledge of photography, retouching, editing, colour management, and pre-press production
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in clarifying briefs
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Nice to have – experience in video editing, experience with print specifications
