Summary of Job Duties:
The Creative Director provides strategic and hands-on creative leadership for UAMS’ visual brand with a primary focus on graphic design and oversight of photography and videography. This role is responsible for directing the creative workload for graphic design, photography, and video projects, including brand advertising, collateral, publications, and related visual assets. Relying on extensive experience and strong organizational skills, the Creative Director plans and oversees creative work to ensure alignment with brand standards, accessibility requirements, and user experience best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art or related field
- (8) years of experience in the field of graphic design
- Experience using PC and MAC
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for print and digital design (ADA, usability best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Management experience preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced creative or marketing environment
- Knowledge of health care, academia, or complex organizational environments
