CPQ Product Owner

Equifax is seeking an experienced Product Owner to enable our implementation of Oracle CPQ(Configure, Price, Quote). This individual is responsible for process transformation and functional requirements to enable Oracle CPQ adoption and enhancements across Workforce Solutions including definition of business needs, business process and business requirements/user stories. The Product Owner works cross-functionally and with multiple levels of the organization to ensure timely and quality design of solutions. The successful candidate will be experienced and motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and solid understanding of Opportunity to Cash processes.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for Oracle CPQ functional requirements; works closely with internal customers, process owners, development teams, support teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that end-to-end solutions are delivered with quality and that expectations are met for functionality, reliability, and availability
  • Participates in the development and helps drive the adherence to relevant standards, guidelines, best practices, and procedures across the organization and eventually the enterprise
  • Support projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality; document, refine, and prioritize business requirements and user stories
  • Develop and maintain end user training documentation and deliver training as required; provide end user and production support
  • Collaborate with development teams to validate that solutions will meet business requirements
  • Create test cases and test scripts in support of test plan; document acceptance criteria and testing requirements for positive, negative and regression testing for user stories
  • Socialize streamlined and transformed business processes with the business to obtain buy in on process changes and tool capabilities; support prioritization of user stories across multiple business processes and stakeholders to drive the most business value
  • Partner with IT on solution design, advocating for optimized processes, out of the box configuration, efficient user experience and ultimately a positive customer experience
  • Subject Matter Expert in creating and utilizing reports to highlight accountability and usage tracking throughout the business.


What experience you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 7+ years Business analysis or requirements gathering knowledge
  • 3+ years experience working with Oracle CPQ processes, sales management, and sales operations
  • 3+ years experience with cloud application architectures, data models, configuration, and customization

  • Demonstrates high level of knowledge of change management 
  • Experience with SQL and/or Oracle Business Intelligence, Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Familiar with Atlassian Jira and Atlassian Confluence 
  • Knowledge about the Pricing discipline
  • High level of analytical, communication, and consultancy skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines at once
