The Opportunity:

Join a mission-driven team supporting the U.S. Department of Justice on high-profile investigations and litigation. As a Courtroom Presentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring trial teams can effectively present complex evidence and information in court.

This position requires a hands-on, technically savvy courtroom operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage every aspect of courtroom presentation technology—from preparing exhibits to operating presentation systems during live proceedings.

You will work directly with DOJ attorneys, investigators, and expert witnesses to prepare trial materials and ensure the seamless delivery of digital evidence in court. For many trials—including large and complex cases—you may serve as the primary technical specialist responsible for courtroom presentation operations.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to major federal litigation, develop expertise in trial technology, and grow within CACI’s expanding litigation support and eDiscovery practice. CACI also supports professional development through tuition reimbursement for Relativity and ACEDS certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with trial teams, attorneys, and expert witnesses to plan and execute courtroom presentation strategies for trials and hearings.
  • Prepare and optimize trial exhibits, including highlighting key passages, zooming into critical evidence, and displaying multiple exhibits simultaneously.
  • Develop and format visual exhibits and graphics using standard presentation and design tools.
  • Advise attorneys on the sequencing and effectiveness of exhibits and digital presentations during trial preparation.
  • Operate courtroom presentation systems during live trials and hearings, ensuring seamless delivery of digital evidence.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot courtroom presentation equipment and software.
  • Digitize and edit audio and video evidence and synchronize clips with written transcripts for courtroom use.
  • Manage exhibits and multimedia materials throughout the pre-trial and trial lifecycle.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and rapid problem resolution during high-pressure courtroom proceedings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Hands-on experience with courtroom presentation software such as TrialDirector, OnCue, or Sanction.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting trials or hearings through the full litigation lifecycle (pre-trial preparation through courtroom execution).
  • Ability to work effectively with attorneys, investigators, and expert witnesses in high-pressure legal environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to operate independently while supporting a trial team in fast-moving courtroom settings.
  • Ability to travel for extended trial support and work long hours during active trials.
  • Prior courtroom trial support experience required.

Desired:

  • Experience with litigation support platforms such as Relativity, iCONECT, or CaseMap.
  • Experience preparing multimedia evidence, graphics, or visual exhibits for litigation.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery workflows and evidence management.
  • Certifications in litigation support or eDiscovery (e.g., ACEDS).

This role is ideal for trial technicians, litigation support specialists, courtroom presentation operators, or eDiscovery professionals who want hands-on courtroom experience supporting federal litigation.
