As Course Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the teaching of the assigned lessons according to the scheme shared by the academic department, the Programme Leader, and the Director of Education, according to the prescribed scientific and quality standards, guaranteeing compliance with CAA requirements.
In coordination with the Programme Leader and the Director of Education, you will collaborate in the proper management of the assigned courses, contributing to achieving the expected scientific standards and quality/accreditation requirements.
You will collaborate with the Programme Leader and Director of Education in the management activities of programmes and faculty for the assigned courses (such as industry projects management, students advising activities, scouting for new tutors, evaluation of transfer students' credentials).
You will collaborate with the Programme Leader and the Director of Education to ensure the quality of the students' learning experience through monitoring and tutoring activities.
You will develop your curriculum vitae according to the standards set by the local regulations and contribute to the research strategy of the School.

Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Academic Delivery
Deliver assigned BA and MA subjects through a clear, student-centered approach, in line with Istituto Marangoni’s methodological guidelines and CAA standards.
Guarantee the effective teaching of assigned courses, ensuring students are supported in achieving the established learning objectives.
Prepare and deliver teaching materials in accordance with programme syllabi, academic standards, and the direction of the Programme Leader and Director of Education.
Contribute to the academic and creative culture of the University through lectures, projects, workshops, events, and cross-school initiatives.
Collaborate with faculty members to support a dynamic, innovative, and academically rigorous learning environment.
Be available, where required, for visiting professor activities at other Istituto Marangoni campuses or partner institutions.
2. Student Academic Support
Support student learning, academic progress, engagement, and overall development across the academic year.
Assess student progression through formative and summative assessment, in line with course learning outcomes and assessment requirements.
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and professional awareness through studio activities, group work, field trips, and industry-supported projects.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with students, tutors, staff, Programme Leaders, and academic leadership.
3. Course Management and Academic Documentation
Support the Programme Leader and Director of Education in the development, delivery, and periodic review of educational programmes.
Assist in course coordination within the assigned academic area, ensuring consistency, quality, and coherence across teaching delivery.
Collect, maintain, and complete required course files, academic documentation, and related materials in line with accreditation and institutional requirements.
Support the maintenance of accreditation standards and contribute to achieving institutional academic targets.
Monitor academic and creative outcomes according to programme standards, PLOs, CLOs, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
4. Project and Industry Coordination
Support the Programme Leader in the coordination of semester projects, industry projects, mentorship initiatives, and cross-programme collaborations.
Ensure clarity of communication, expectations, timelines, and deliverables between students, tutors, Programme Leaders, and external partners.
Contribute to the development of projects and partnerships that connect academic delivery with professional practice.
Support engagement with relevant industries, organizations, cultural partners, and professional bodies.
5. Institutional Engagement
Actively participate in school initiatives, including Open Days, workshops, conferences, promotional activities, recruitment events, and events organized by Admissions, Communications, and HQ.
Contribute to the visibility, reputation, and academic development of the University through internal and external initiatives.
Educational and Professional Requirements
PhD in one or more of the areas of expertise listed above is preferrable. At least a MA level.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in an international institution, at university level.
Education qualification equivalency from the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates.
Experience teaching students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Industry experience in Fashion Management and / or Fragrances & Cosmetics fields.
Experience creating educational materials and extracurricular activities that support curriculum objectives.
UAE residency preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop professional networks within the Fashion Management and Fragrances & Cosmetics industries.
