PURPOSE OF JOB
The P&C Country Operations Specialist (temporary contract) will be part of the People Support Solutions (PSS) chapter, working closely with colleagues across the broader PSS network to deliver country-specific people services.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and effective people operations. A significant part of your work will involve collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally - including government authorities, external vendors such as payroll providers and HR agencies, as well as internal teams.
Your responsibilities will include supporting local payroll and benefits administration, coordinating recruiting activities, managing employment documentation and contracts, and ensuring compliant and efficient people processes. Through these activities, you will help create a seamless experience for employees and managers while maintaining strong alignment with local regulations and organizational standards.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Main tasks including but not limited to:
Payroll/Time
Perform all related payroll and time management activities or manage the relationship with 3rd party vendors
Employee Lifecycle/Operations
Issue employment contracts, store documents, and ensure financial stability through bank account maintenance.
Provide support with sick leave certificates, highlight achievements with reference letters, and affirm dedication through employment and salary confirmations.
Benefits Operations
Administer benefits, including enrollment, deduction, and payment processing.
Set up and audit Workday or benefit administration systems, ensuring accuracy and integration.
Conduct data auditing and reporting for legal and regulatory compliance.
Support implementation of new/existing benefits programs and vendor management.
Manage benefit vendors to ensure accuracy and high service levels.
Assist with employee communications and policy updates.
Act as an escalation point for benefits inquiries, ensuring end-to-end resolution.
Identify and resolve process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Further requirements
We are seeking an individual with a degree and 3 years or more of related experience in customer service or related Human Resources area.
Experienced and efficient handling of standard IT-applications, preferably Google suite
Knowledge of Workday HR Processes
Knowledge of local payroll, tax and benefit regulations
Knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements
Communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential
