Position Summary You will lead GSK’s medical strategy and operations in Brazil. You will work with cross-functional partners to translate evidence into practice, support patient safety, and shape medical engagement across the country. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Lead the country medical team and build capability through coaching and development. - Define and deliver country medical strategy aligned with regional and global priorities. - Ensure patient safety, medical governance and compliant medical standards across clinical and post-marketing activities. - Partner with commercial, regulatory, R&D and external stakeholders to inform access, policy and medical education. - Drive local evidence generation and manage review of investigator-sponsored and collaborative research requests. - Represent Medical externally to healthcare professionals, government bodies and professional associations. Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals - Medical degree (MD) or equivalent clinical qualification with valid registration in Brazil. - Minimum 8 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or a related medical role in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. - Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment. - Proven record in medical strategy development and execution at country level. - Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance, medical governance and compliance requirements in Brazil. - Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus - Experience as a Country Medical Director or senior medical leader in a major market. - Background in therapeutic areas relevant to our pipeline and portfolio. - Experience working with regional or global medical teams. - Track record in stakeholder engagement with government, academia or professional societies. - Experience managing budgets and medical KPIs. - Advanced degree or specialist clinical training. Working arrangement This role is hybrid, based in Brazil with regular presence in the local office and travel across the country as needed.
