The Costume Storage Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing operations at our Florida-based costume storage facility. This position leads a dedicated team of Cast Members and ensures the seamless execution of order fulfillment and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and exceptional client service, driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
You will report to the Area Manager – Costume Storage.
This is a Casual Temporary (CT) or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
What You Will Do:
Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by implementing and maintaining operational standards aligned with company policies
Manage daily facility operations including receiving, inventory control, space utilization, logistics, floor efficiency, shipping, and customer service
Provide strategic direction and hands-on support to meet both short- and long-term performance goals
Lead, coach, and develop front-line Cast Members through consistent feedback and performance management
Optimize operational workflows for product handling, storage, equipment usage, inventory accuracy, quality assurance, and outbound logistics
Oversee transportation logistics for product movement between internal facilities and clients
Build and maintain collaborative relationships across departments and with key stakeholders to support cross-functional initiatives
Required Qualifications & Skills:
1+ years of experience leading teams in a unionized environment
Proven experience in warehouse or storage facility operations, including inventory control
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to act quickly and effectively
Demonstrated ability to deliver clear, constructive written and verbal feedback
Willingness and ability to travel between multiple work locations as needed
Comfortable working around various fabrics, fibers, and synthetic materials
Schedule availability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Multilingual
Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as SAP, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms
Experience handling garments, costumes, or clothing in a professional setting
Knowledge of 5S methodology and its application in operational environments
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Advanced Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
